HITE’s H&i Server and management software won the “Most Trusted Products in China’s Automation Industry 2020

Publish Date:2022-09-08

Sponsored by the Chinese Association of Automation, organized by the Intelligent Manufacturing Promote Cooperation Innovation Alliance, the China Instrument Manufacturer Association, the Industrial Control Systems Information Security Industry Alliance, the Edge Computing Consortium, the National Technical Committee on Safety of Machinery and the National TC124 on Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation of SAC, and co-organized by the Automation Panorama on kongzhi.net, the China Automation Industry Annual Conference (CAIAC) 2021 & the 16th China Automation Industry Event (CAIE) was officially unveiled on April 15, 2021 in Beijing.

After sixteen years of accumulation from 2006 to 2021, CAIAC has developed into a top-notch event in the industry. On the evening of the event, more than 200 industry experts, corporate executives and user representatives from various fields gathered together. Gui Weihua, Vice President of China Association of Automation and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Wu Hongxin, Distinguished Consultant of the Chinese Association of Automation and Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Yu Haibin, Vice President of China Association of Automation and Director of Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and others attended the event.

To unswervingly build a manufacturing power, quality power, network power and digital China, promote industrial foundation upgrade and industrial chain modernization and improve China’s economic quality and efficiency and core competitiveness are the historical missions bestowed to all Chinese automation practitioners as well as the new opportunities and challenges faced by China’s automation industry in the new era. General-purpose technologies centered on digital technologies are accelerating a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation on a global scale. Only continuous innovation, continuous technological enhancement, industrial integration and co-construction of a new digital ecosystem can truly promote China’s manufacturing industry to transform from “manufacturing” to “intelligent manufacturing”, thus to create a new future for China’s intelligent science, technology and industrial development.

HITE’s second-generation H&i Server redundant server and system management software has long been favored by the market for its safety, reliability, advancement, wide application both at home and abroad, and word-of-mouth among users. The product won the “Most Trusted Products in China’s Automation Industry 2020” award.

The second-generation H&i Server redundant server and system management software is a fault-tolerant computer system for real-time critical industrial applications that can provide zero-second interruption recovery from faults. Its comprehensive technical features (zero-second switchover, load balancing, virtualization, centralized monitoring, etc.) have reached the domestic-leading level, with novelty and good market application values. Currently, the product has obtained Invention Patent 201410632804.3 “A Computer Fault-Tolerance Method and System Authorization”.

Being equipped with functions such as computing and storage hyper-converged architecture, virtualized multi-application load balancing, and automatic fault recovery, the product falls with the scope of database system disaster and fault recovery technologies and belongs to the category of “database security technology”. Researches have been carried out regarding dynamic migration technology, failure prediction technology, virtualization technology, rapid deployment and simple maintenance technology, remote disaster recovery scheme, processor load balancing technology, and integration technology with the cloud management platform. The product’s P2V (physical to virtual) migration technology, disaster recovery (DR) technology at long-distance optical fiber synchronous transmission, and fault warning and automatic recovery technology are comparable to similar products of the United States, while its main performance indicators such as zero-second switchover, load balancing, virtualization and centralized monitoring have reached the domestic-leading level.

The second-generation product is equipped with fault tolerance and can be used to build virtualization and industrial private clouds. The launch of the server and the improvement and application of MES in the industry have comprehensively enhanced the Company’s service capabilities with regard to overall solutions of automation control and network informatization, thereby laying the technical foundation for the Company to provide and optimize overall solutions for digital factory and intelligent manufacturing. As the “Made in China 2025” initiative and industrial upgrading progress in China, there will be more and more data collection, computing and storage demands at the edge ends of manufacturing enterprises. The reliability of key equipment in the data center construction and data processing of enterprises will become an increasingly prominent requirement. HITE’s H&i Server redundant server and IndusCloud solutions can help users build data centers with high availability and reliability, fault tolerance, and horizontal performance scalability, so they have good application prospects.

Application scenarios

At present, H&i Server redundant server series and system management software have been marketed and applied in China’s municipal transportation, power, metallurgy, mining, petrochemical, process manufacturing and other industries. The product enjoys a high market share in domestic expressway toll monitoring systems, rail transit monitoring and charging systems, and airport information integration systems. Typical end applications include the toll collection and monitoring systems of Shanghai Municipal Tunnel, Jiangsu Expressway, Zhejiang Expressway, Shanxi Expressway, Inner Mongolia Expressway, Guangxi Expressway, Sichuan Expressway, Hunan Expressway, Guangdong Expressway and Heilongjiang Expressway, the tunnel electromechanical monitoring system in the expansion project of Shaanxi Huangling-Yang’an Highway (JD-5 section), the tunnel electromechanical monitoring system of Guizhou Kaili-Leishan Expressway, the communications system of Nanjing Metro Line 1, the tunnel monitoring system of Wuji Highway, the intelligent traffic monitoring system of Shanghai Donghai Bridge, and other engineering cases.
